In West Bengal, a new recruitment notice has been issued. Under the agreement, only female candidates will be able to apply for the job of Asha worker in a certain block area. The appointment will be made in 4 blocks under the Gangarampur subdivision of Uttar Dinajpur district. The details of recruitment including the number of vacancies, educational qualifications, application process are given below.
Dakshin Dinajpur Asha Karmi Recruitment
Position Name: ASHA Karmi
Vacancies: 23
Salary: Rs. 4500 per month
Age Limit: The age of the applicant for the post of Asha Karmi should be 30-40 years. ST, SC class women should be 22-40 years of age. Age should be calculated as 01.01.2022.
Educational Qualification: Must pass secondary. Even if you have more qualifications than secondary, you can apply. However, in that case, only the second number will be seen.
Special Qualifications:
- The applicant must be a married / widowed / legally divorced woman.
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of the village in which the appointment will be made.
Place of appointment: Appointment will be made in 4 blocks under the Gangarampur subdivision of the Uttar Dinajpur district. Recruitment process: Direct recruitment will be done on the basis of secondary numbers.
Application Process: You have to apply by submitting the form offline. The application form is given on page 3 of the official notice. So first you have to download the official notice and print the application form on the A4 page.
Then the candidate has to fill out the form. Once the form is completed, some of the required documents will have to be covered in Xerox. Then all the papers have to be filled in an envelope and submitted to the specified block/video office.

- Secondary mark sheet
- Voter card or dark card
- Cast Certificate (in case of ST, SC)
- Two passport size photographs with the candidate's own signature
